AnaMalz, the cuddliest wooden toys alive. Made from organic maple wood and textile products.
Designed in Australia by Louise Causon and made from wood and plush materials, these little heartbreakers were first brought into the world in 2007. Today the AnaMalz team is made up of a group of passionate and incredibly creative people. The company has won more than 15 industry awards, including an Australian International design award. The Anamalz team is passionate about building the world of AnaMalz and, most importantly, motivated by a greater cause to help make nature grow.
Anamalz proudly uses sustainable materials wherever possible. AnaMalz are made from a wood known as schima superba or “needlewood” – a fast-growing tree harvested in a forest plantation. The AnaMalz horns are made from an FDA-approved material called TPR. Anamalz has worked with an award-winning Austrian company to create TPR mixed with wood powder, a sustainable alternative to plastic. Each toy is assembled in their own factory that is of the highest standard and meets international regulations in a remote part of China. The factory makes no other toys other than AnaMalz. The wood scraps are used on a farm to grow mushrooms. All AnaMalz are carefully hand painted using child-friendly paint and formaldehyde-free glue. Fabrics are AZO dye free. AnaMalz have been safety certified to the highest international standards and meet EN71, ASTM, and CPSIA standards.
