Based in California, Bakeology was founded in 2012 by Sasha Crescentini and Dawn Martel, a mother-daughter duo who decided to share their favourite all-natural treats with the world. Before starting Bakeology, both Sasha and Dawn worked in the food industry, and they shared a passion for baking. When Sasha’s best friend was diagnosed with gluten intolerance, the mother-daughter pair started baking up gluten-free alternatives of their favourite treats — and the resulting goodies were so tasty that they decided to make them available to everyone.
Bakeology cookies are made locally in California, with all-natural ingredients that are good for both individuals and the planet. Bakeology’s passion is to create indulgent snack experiences while using sustainable ingredients and having environmental integrity. That means using vegan ingredients that are certified non-GMO, and donating 1% of their sales to 1% for the Planet’s environmental non-profit partners.
